Microcement Walls
Seamless wall finishes that transform any interior into a work of art.
Beyond Paint
Walls That Tell a Different Story
Paint is flat. Wallpaper peels. Tile has grout. Microcement walls offer something fundamentally different — a seamless, tactile, three-dimensional surface that interacts with light, creates depth, and transforms the atmosphere of any room. It is not a coating applied to a wall; it becomes the wall itself.
ATRIA's microcement wall system is applied directly over existing surfaces — drywall, plaster, concrete, brick, or even existing tile — with no demolition required. A single coat of Primerquartz bonding primer followed by two thin coats of microcement creates a monolithic surface with the depth and character of hand-troweled plaster and the durability of a commercial-grade coating.
The beauty of microcement walls lies in their imperfection. Each surface is unique — the natural variation of the trowel work, the subtle movement of pigment within the material, the way light catches different areas at different angles. This is not a factory-perfect finish; it is an artisan surface that brings warmth, texture, and soul to modern interiors.
From raw industrial concrete aesthetics in a Deep Ellum loft to refined satin finishes in a Highland Park residence — ATRIA microcement walls adapt to any design language while maintaining the seamless, grout-free character that defines the material.

Four Distinct Wall Textures
Each ATRIA microcement product creates a unique surface character. Choose the texture that matches your design vision.
Cementius
Raw Concrete
An authentic poured-concrete aesthetic with natural variations, movement, and an industrial edge. Perfect for lofts, studios, and contemporary spaces that embrace the beauty of raw materials.
Titanium
Smooth Satin
A refined, silky finish with subtle depth and gentle light play. The single-component system is easy to apply and creates an elegant, understated backdrop for any interior.
A-Beton
Polished Concrete
Lighter and more refined than raw concrete — a soft, sophisticated concrete character for luxury residences, boutique hotels, and high-end retail environments.
Resina One
Industrial Chiaroscuro
Bold light-dark contrast with true cement character. The natural variation creates a dramatic, artisan quality that reads as authentically hand-crafted.
Applications
Where to Use Microcement Walls

Feature Walls
A single microcement feature wall transforms the entire character of a room. Behind a fireplace, a dining area focal point, or a master bedroom headboard wall — the seamless texture draws the eye and anchors the space.

Full-Room Finishes
Wrap an entire room in microcement for a monolithic, gallery-like environment. When walls and ceiling share the same finish, the boundaries dissolve — creating a sense of volume, calm, and architectural presence.

Accent Walls & Niches
Highlight architectural details — built-in shelving, alcoves, niches, and archways — with contrasting microcement textures. The handcrafted surface adds depth and tactile interest that paint simply cannot deliver.

Commercial Interiors
Restaurant walls, hotel lobbies, spa treatment rooms, retail displays — microcement creates premium environments that are as durable as they are beautiful. No repainting, no peeling, no fading.
Wall Application Process
Simpler Than Floors. Just as Beautiful.
Wall applications skip the rasante base coat — microcement goes directly over the bonding primer. Three steps to a transformed space.
Prime
Primerquartz bonding primer applied to clean, prepared wall surface. Creates a textured adhesion layer.
Apply
Two coats of microcement applied by steel trowel. Sanded between coats. Color, texture, and character emerge.
Protect
Two coats of Atriapol Antibacterial polyurethane topcoat seal the surface — waterproof, stain-resistant, UV-stable.

Common Questions
Microcement Walls FAQ
Yes. Microcement bonds directly to drywall, plaster, concrete block, brick, and most existing wall surfaces. We apply our Primerquartz bonding primer first, which creates a textured adhesion layer. Unlike floors, walls do not require a rasante base coat — the microcement goes directly over the primer.
ATRIA offers four distinct wall textures: raw concrete (Cementius), smooth satin (Titanium), polished concrete (A-Beton), and industrial chiaroscuro (Resina One). Each product creates a different surface character, from rough and industrial to silky and refined. Custom textures can also be achieved through application technique.
Microcement and Venetian plaster serve different aesthetic purposes. Microcement delivers a modern, concrete-inspired look — matte, mineral, and contemporary. Venetian plaster creates a polished, luminous, classical finish with depth and sheen. Many of our clients use both in the same home — microcement in the living areas and Venetian plaster in the formal spaces.
Resina One is rated for both interior and exterior use. For exterior applications, we use our UV-stable topcoat system to protect against Dallas sun exposure and weather. The other microcement products in our line are formulated for interior use only.
